Just a few words to express my thanks and satisfaction at the treatment received with my dental implant. I felt confident and assured at all stages, from initial consultation to the final completion. This was down to detailed explanation throughout and thorough discussion after each stage.

My expectations have been well managed and I am delighted with the result. Each stage has been easy for me as a patient and I have suffered absolutely no discomfort.

After not visiting a dentist for three years I was very apprehensive about an appointment with someone unknown. However Dr Hassan and his assistant Natalie totally put me at ease and were very friendly and professional.

All my treatment was first class and I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Hassan to new clients.

Unfortunately I had visited many second rate dentists over the years – leaving me with a large number of painful teeth, ugly amalgam fillings, missing teeth and a smile no would be proud of.

From the moment I entered into the surgery, I felt totally relaxed and under no obligation from Dr Hassan, who spent a lot of time explaining what options were available. I was shown many photos of the work he had carried out and was very impressed with what I was shown.

The atmosphere within the surgery is very relaxing and comfortable, the facilities, equipment and hygiene standards are absolutely top class.

I have undergone tooth whitening, numerous filling replacements, bridgework and crowns and have not experienced a moment’s pain or even discomfort.

Dr Hassan and his staff are very calming, professional and knowledgeable and I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart.

I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Hassan as a cosmetic or remedial dentist – his enthusiasm, ability and attention to detail are second to none.

At the age of 64 I thought that for me broad smiles and confident grins were a thing of the past. After years of drinking tea and coffee, my teeth were discoloured and I was conscious each time I smiled. That changed when I decided to have my teeth whitened. Perhaps I was lucky not to have sensitive teeth, for I found the treatment very easy and painless. Once the impressions had been taken and the trays had been made for my teeth, it was mainly about developing a nightly routine. Remembering to put a small amount of gel into the trays and wearing the trays for 14 nights was hardly challenging.

After about 5 nights I could clearly see the difference and by the time the treatment was finished I was really impressed with the result.

On leaving the dentist I walked slowly back to the car, wanting to smile at everyone just for the chance to show off my new white teeth.

Being without a dentist for so many years and not for lack of enquiring, we eventually saw an advertisement in the Wakefield Express for Pollards. We made our appointments, and, what a breath of fresh air. The service and aftercare were absolutely brilliant; we are treated like human beings. Having experienced problems with an NHS dentist for a prolonged period of time without resolution I contacted Pollards for an initial consultation appointment. My underlying problem was infections that had developed in the roots of two teeth after having veneers fitted by an NHS dentist two years prior. At the initial consultation, I found Dr Hassan incredibly supportive and patient in his handling of my condition and circumstances.

He talked me through in great detail the varying options regarding my treatment plan and also advised me on the best course of action. The timescale and the likely scenarios I may face whilst undergoing the treatment were also explained. The consultation alone gave me a much better understanding of my situation and likely treatment plan which I had never experienced with an NHS dentist, with the time and attention given also being much higher.

The actual work carried out was done thoughtfully, patiently and with great consideration for me as a patient. The environment within the surgery is first class and along with a great camaraderie generated between the nurse, Dr Hassan and myself, it was a whole new and surprisingly pleasant experience in comparison to any other dental treatment I have received.

The quality of the facilities in terms of waiting room, dental equipment, comfort and most importantly patient after care was first class. I even received calls the day after the surgery to see how I was feeling and to further explain what I was likely to feel like over the following days.

I will always use this dental surgery for treatment in the future and cannot recommend it highly enough. A different league to any previous dental experience.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all you have done for me over the last six months. I was petrified of going to a dentist, everything about it was stressful. I only went when i had chronic toothache. I had previously had two dentists in twenty years, both of which put me off totally. On my first visit to you I was stressed, scared and shaking uncontrollably. The first thing I noticed was the lack of that dentist smell. There was no having to wait around, so not causing stress to me. Dr Hassan and the nurse were so friendly, understanding AND patient. Most importantly I was not spoken to in a condescending manner which I was used to! Due to this I have since had a lot of work done, the results speak for themselves. My front teeth were discoloured, broken, rotting and crooked. So speaking to people and smiling were kept to a minimum, I felt so embarrassed. Now, I just want to smile and show them off, it’s done so much for my self confidence. I cannot thank them enough. I feel so stress free that i never miss an appointment. I even sit and watch T.V whilst my work is being done.
