Today we’d like to show you a case study of one of our recent patients. All this work was carried out here at Pollards Optical Dental Clinic in Wakefield by Dr Hassan.
Below are two radiographs of what is involved with having a root canal filling.
The first radiograph shows what the tooth looked like before having the dental treatment done.
The teeth are heavily broken down and contain temporary restoration.
Once the root filling had been completed the teeth were restored with cosmetic all ceramic crowns.
You can see the decay within the teeth and how it has spread into the core area of the tooth or pulp chamber.
Here you can see how the three canals within each of the teeth have been cleaned out and shaped, to allow the placement of the root canal filling.
