Our practice is supporting the World Sight Day Challenge this month to raise funds for Optometry Giving Sight & Vision Aid overseas, two charities working together to raise funds to help people in developing countries.
This years’ World Sight Day Challenge focuses on gender and eye health. Funds raised by us will help women and girls who are blind or visually impaired due to uncorrected refractive error and who do not have access to an eye exam and a pair of glasses.
On Saturday 10th October we will be donating all fees from eye exams to this good cause.
We are also inviting our patients to make a small donation to support us, or just to bring in old spectacles that we can send to the third world.
