When i was told i would needed varifocals for the first time i was very apprehensive after having heard all the bad experiences that my friends and family had encounted. I sat down with the optical team and they very patiently went through all the advantages of the lenses and how they would work . Eventually we found a varifocal to suit my active lifestyle.
The team explained to me how i would feel in the first few days of wearing my new lenses and the strange experiences i would encounter; this included the constant head movement to find my focus and simple things such as walking down stairs would seem a little strange. I was reassured that this was perfectly normal and what every first time varifocal wearer experienced in the beginning.
Now 3 Weeks into wearing my new varifocals i have no regrets and i am happy with my choice to give varifocals a try. I would like to thank the whole team who made my experience at Pollards througholy enjoyable and for their help and advise.
