Children's Eyecare

As a members of the Eye Know Eye Care Group we are very passionate about promoting the importance of healthy eyes and regular eye examinations to children and their parents.

We have recently held many interactive assemblies at local schools with a PowerPoint presentation for the children and teachers. We also supplied all the pupils with a goody bag and some information for their parents.

Children’s eye conditions and problems cannot always be detected in the classroom or even noticed by parents, but when vision problems are corrected it can completely change a child’s education and learning ability.

Latest reaserch shows that children who have eye problems do not perform to their capability at school & are also left out of sports and extra curricular activites. This has major implications for their psychological well-being. We are working with various groups to help children to see better and feel better!
