Sports Vision
Laura & Qausia now hold the diploma in SportVision Practice, and are therefore suitability qualified to help you improve your sport performance. We conducted a research project about how having a slightly blurred eye affects golf, which you can read here. Other research has been conducted by Geraint Griffiths – to read more about this, visit our Sports Vision blog.
We provide a Sports Vision Assessment to help you be the best at your game.
Our vision is so much more than just how far you can read - our brains judge distance, speed and depth with our eyesight. The better corrected and balanced your eyesight is, the better you can judge these crucial measurements, particularly in sports.
We are trained specially in Sportsvision to carry out a Sports Vision assessment. It is quite different to a normal eye exam! We can then provide you with the best prescription glasses and/or contact lenses for your sport. Call us to find out more.
Areas of particular interest are:- Shooting
- Golf
- Fishing
- Racquet Sports
Qausia Hassan, SportVision Optometrist has acheived a distinction in her SportVision diploma - come and see how we can improve your game with our expertise!
Here is how Qausia improved a patient's netball, football & swimming in her SportVision project.
Summary:
LF felt her vision was fine and had no problems with her sports - so she was very surprised to learn that her eye speed, aiming and vision on a cloudy day were greatly improved by wearing contact lenses.
